The Rape & Sexual Abuse Service Highland (RASASH) visited our school this week to run workshops with S2, S3 and S4. These workshops are part of Rape Crisis Scotland’s national sexual violence prevention programme funded by the Scottish Government. They looked at how power can influence relationships and developed our understanding of sexual violence. RASASH will be back in the future to run workshops with S1, S5 and S6.
In the run-up to prom we ran a clothes swap, where pupils could donate unwanted items of clothing and pick up something new to them. The swap was a great opportunity to promote sustainability, reduce waste, and refresh wardrobes without buying new items. Thank you to everyone who donated!
Claire Gunner (from the NHS) is doing a drop-in session on Monday 1st June for anyone who would like help to stop smoking or vaping.
This will be in the stripey chair room upstairs, at lunchtime. You don't need an appointment - you can just drop in to see her. I'll send out a reminder nearer the time.
If anyone would like a 1 on 1 appointment, speak to Ms Byrne.
