House Captains

House Captains are S6 student leaders who play a key role in representing and supporting their House throughout the school year. They act as positive role models, demonstrating leadership and responsibility while helping to create a strong House identity.

Working closely with staff and pupils, House Captains will help to organise and lead a range of activities and events, including Sports Day, the Christmas quiz, Prom, Mallaig's Got Talent, charity initiatives and other inter-house competitions. 

As ambassadors for the school, House Captains assist with the P7 transition programme by welcoming new pupils and showing them around the school. They help promote school events, encourage participation, run pupil council and gather feedback from students to share ideas and concerns with the Senior Leadership Team.

House Captains are trusted leaders who help foster a positive school community, ensuring that every student feels represented, involved and encouraged to take part in school life.
