A Standards and Quality Report (SQR) is a document schools in Scotland produce each year to explain:
how well the school is doing,
what progress children and young people are making,
what improvements have been achieved,
and what the school still needs to improve.
It is part of the school’s wider improvement cycle and links directly to the School Improvement Plan (SIP).
This session, our key priorities are focused on continuing to improve learning, wellbeing and future opportunities for all learners across Mallaig High School.
Improving learning, teaching and assessment through stronger collegiate working, high-quality classroom practice and interdisciplinary learning.
Developing skills for learning, life and work by embedding digital profiling, meta-skills and meaningful career education opportunities.
Strengthening inclusion, participation and positive relationships through restorative approaches, pupil voice, wellbeing and Rights Respecting Schools work.
